Saturday night's events on Remora in FFXI could not have made me happier that I quit the game.
Moving along in our BWL progression, Firemaw was our next target:
After Firemaw was dead, we made our way to
Ebonroc/Flamegor. It's kinda funny how we died like, 5 or so times to the trash between Firemaw -> Ebonroc. Oh well. But yeah, Ebonroc's fight is really, really hard. From the very start of the time I've been raiding, one thing has become crystal clear in my mind: I would never want to be a MT in a raiding guild... SO much is riding on your shoulders (skill, gear, etc). Just way too much pressure. Anyways, we didn't kill Ebonroc, and I didn't care to take any pictures because the lowest we got him to was ~75% before he regenned back to 100% in a matter of seconds. =\
A few days after that BWL, we went on a world spawn killing spree. Azuregos:
Kazzak:
After we killed Kazzak, I decided to go to my afternoon classes because I had skipped my morning ones to kill those two. =( Apparently the guild went to the dragon in Duskwood, and then to another, but were griefed to no end by Ally, so we made no kills.
Now, just to set the record straight in terms of service/support comparisons when it come to WoW vs FFXI: if you send something to get replaced in the game in FFXI, the only response you get is that they'll "look into it", and probably never see your item again unless you're Japanese. A few days ago, I was in a losing AV (lolhordelostanAVhow?), and after clicking "Leave Battleground", I did NOT have my one AV mark, and was flagged with Deserter. So, I sent in a GM call for lost item, and was later pleasantly surprised with this:
I was refunded my AV mark and two extra marks for the inconvenience. =O Awesome!
Lastly, I'll leave you with a little subliminal messaging by Blizzard that I found in game. This shot is the back of the Spirit Healer's head/neck in Thorium Point.
Hmmm... what could that be? O_O
Until next time~~~~
