Wow, a decent race.

And for those that think Lorenzo is sandbagging, the tantrum he had going in his helmet was ridiculous. He was the first to come by my section of the track after the flag. When I heard his bike coming around the corner I thought it was someone on a hot lap. Then I realize it is Lorenzo motoring by fast, not a wave to anyone!! Not even the cheap ( Read more... )

very mature of him I gotta say. it's all just an act to show off his huge ego to the world. I think I will never be able to talk about this guy with even a slightest shadow of respect.

Yup. And I can't understand how there are some people who actually believe anything the guy says... I mean there are a few riders who have even said they don't and won't believe a word he says. If he didn't have to put on a stupid act and say and do what he thinks everyone wants to see/hear then he'd come across as a much more honest and nice guy. But just now he looks like a smug egomanic and I don't think it's ever gonna change..

After Misano Lorenzo was interviewed by an Italian journalist who asked him (among other questions) "How can you explain why in Spain Pedrosa has more fans than you?", and Lorenzo said something like "When you win you gain more sopporters and he has won two races in a row"... I think he has some problems in understanding the world... excuse me, aren't you the one who's the first in the championship? Have you ever considered that maybe, MAYBE, winning is not everything, especially when you act like a 3 years old baby? I'm speechless.

Dovi and Spies battle was fantastic to watch
Even if, as it always happens, the Dorna decided to show Casey's arrive instead of their last lap. Great. =_=

Although I do think the black flag for Krummenacher was a bit OTT
Mh, yeah, that's right, but they were saying that maybe this decision was taken because it was the first race after Shoya's death and all the stuff said about the red flag...

Have a great first uni week! ;D

Paaahh, he could be a comedian if he wasn't being totally serious ;) But like seriously, hasn't it occurred to him that Dani just comes across as a nicer guy who is just happy to be doing what he loves without getting too upset and sulky over a "poor" result?

That bugged me. I don't mind seeing the winner as they cross the line, but at the start of the lap they just showed us Casey and Dani for a good 30 seconds.. Like, come on, I know they're 490583409580423423 miles ahead of everyone else, can I please see what's going on behind them? Yeah, and it would have been nice to see exactly what happened between Dovi and Spies.. Like Spies crossed the line and Dovi wasn't there and I was wondering wtf had happened.

I wish they wouldn't make knee-jerk decisions over this, especially considering the incident with Shoya was purely an accident and not someone making a bone-head move.. Mehh..

Thanks! I'm enjoying it so far, but knowing me, in a few weeks time I'll be wishing it was the holidays again!
