Okay, I closed the poll at midnight. There's enough (fairly overwhelming for the number of respondants) consensus that as of today, application review goes over to the players

I'm happy with players voting on their own apps, because with 20 players, it's only likely to swing in terms of a line-ball decision. And I'm happy for that to be the metaphorical 'benefit of the doubt'.
But that's just my opinion, and if I'm outvoted, then it doesn't matter.
Are we talking current players voting on their apps or potential players? I'm really squeamish on both because obviously a person is going to vote yes on their own application and if that breaks a tie, it's not really the rest of the players saying yes or no, but the rest of players plus a person with an agenda.
And yes, I am the kid that voted for myself in every election I entered, thank you ^_~
Also. . please to be pushing back the date by a few months weeks for player voting? Maybe. . November?
Only members of the game are given access to the voting comm to be able to vote, so this is only talking about current players voting on their subsequent apps.
I'm going have to say to push back the voting a bit as well. November could work, as suggested above - or maybe mid/late October? Maybe once the game has a few more players.
We don't have many votes for that, so at this point, app voting's going to go over to the players. It's been my choice to set up the game with a number of fairly democratic features, so I'll be deferring to their votes.
If you need any help or input when it comes time to vote, just give me a ping.
