So. It's been a year already since I came to Vancouver to live. Tomorrow morning I leave for a three month tour of America, with forays into Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto added onto the end before I'm back here for a week. As always before I go on an extended journey, I'm bombarded with mixed feelings that make my head spin and my heart beat

Can't quite promise I'll be as full of energy and awesomeness as some of the people you may have met. I'm kind of boring and a homebody, but everything I've ever had is also yours, too, and I hope I can keep up with your ridiculous energy, you silly person. My solemn vow is to introduce you to even more groovy people, and stuff you full of funnel cakes, and also I just swallowed a bug that was in my drink, but I couldn't really taste it, just felt it, so it's fine. That was a great story, wasn't it? Really great. I liked the part where the funnel cakes were in it. That was a good part of the story. It was exciting and special. I should tell it again, shouldn't I? 8D
