This story brings back so many feelings from when my best friend and roommate was waiting for a lung transplant...He accepted that there was a good chance he would die and was petrified. I hated that I was *praying* for someone to *die* so that he could live. My fingers are crossed that this story ends on a much happier note than Tyler's did (he had complications with the transplant that resulted in rejection).

Thank you for writing a story that shows the importance of organ donation. Looking forward to reading more.

Not gonna lie, listening to Ryan Adam's In My Time of Need while reading this chapter was not the best idea in keeping me from tearing up but what's done is done and this was an amazing chapter that seriously got to me. The sadness was good sadness though. Well done for the amazing story and chapter
