If I'm remembering the story wrong, please ignore me, but I thought Kurt had a rare blood type and A+ isn't a rare blood type. It's the 2nd most common among Caucasians.

No, he doesn't have a rare blood type. I'll go back to make sure that it says that he doesn't have one in that chapter, but just in case that it does, Kurt isn't one with a rare blood type. If he did have one, it would have made the percentage of him surviving to get smaller.

No, you got it right, the other reader must have read it wrong. In chapter 6, Burt says definitively, "He's not a rare blood type."

I've never commented before and that is a shame on me because I love this story with such a passion. Every time you post a chapter I do this little dance in my chair and drop everything I'm doing to read it. And you've literally made me cry reading every chapter.

I'm glad there's a heart for Kurt! I admit I was a little scared you were going to go "Hollywood" with this story and have the donor be someone Kurt knows ... at worst, Blaine!

I tried to not make it like Hollywood, because having someone he knew give him their heart (especially Blaine) would be too cruel to Kurt in my opinion. Give him happiness, then lol, psych just kidding!

There was a debate in my mind whether or not to make it a family member or some random person. I just decided to go with random person A.

I brought this on myself. AND I KNEW IT TOO!!!

Its around 1 in the morning here, and I was looking for something 'good' to read before I go to sleep and I see this updated!!!

So I'm all, 'YAY! Oh, wait, Mary..that's gonna be sad, you don't want to read that just before you sleep, you'll cry.'

So what happens? CRY. The scene where Kurt wakes up and they're talking about him...my blanket does not appreciate it.
