This past weekend I was in a photoshoot for a new costume. For the photoshoot, I wanted to find a waterfall where:
- the water fell away from the cliff rather than against it
- the pool at the base was only about 2ft deep
- the waterfall is at least 8ft tall
- ideally shouldn't be too popular

If you're interested in the sunset idea, we should try before the end of April. The area officially closes at 8pm as I remember, and by May the sun will be setting too late. (and as I recall, the road to the parking area has a gate that gets locked then)
It's < 10mi from where we went together, so I guess some day you're in San Dimas would be best.
