Eunhyuk's always up and out the door before anyone else wakes up.
No one knows where he is or where he's going, but then again, no one's curious enough to ask.
But someone does.
Donghae knows.
Every morning, Eunhyuk wakes up at exactly 5:00 am.
He rubs his eyes before stumbling to the bathroom to brush his teeth.
Finished, he walks back to his room to grab his jacket and leaves again.
He's still groggy. He remembers that he needs his glasses, and walks back.
By the time he’s ready, it's about 5:20.
The other members won’t be up until 6:00, when they have to be.
Eunhyuk walks to the door, and opens it quietly, careful not to wake them.
He closes it with caution, and briskly walks down the stairs before heading down the street.
Eunhyuk likes to start his day with caffeine.
He has a favorite café down the street from their dorm, and never fails to visit every morning.
It's not crowded, but it's not empty.
It's not loud, but it's not too quiet either.
The walls are tinted with a slight beige color and there are windows scattered throughout.
Not too many people recognize him without the other 12 members.
But there's always someone who does, and even at this time, he’s obligated to fulfill their miniscule requests.
EunHyuk always orders the same thing, a hot cappuccino with lots of whipped cream.
He can’t handle black coffee. It’s too bitter. If black coffee is for men, he’ll stay a boy forever.
He sits in the same seat every day, a little booth in the corner, almost hidden behind a section of the wall.
It’s hard to imagine that he’s the same EunHyuk flailing about on variety shows.
He smiles as he receives his coffee, and like an excited child with soda, he takes a sip immediately.
Forgetting that it's still hot, he burns his tongue.
This happens quite frequently, but he never quite remembers to stop and think.
He sighs with satisfaction as he finishes the last of his drink.
It's about 6:00, and the other members are probably just waking up.
He thanks the manager as he walks out the door.
It's kind of chilly outside so he shoves his hands into the pockets of his jacket and heads home.
With how unpredictable his schedule can get, this type of consistency is very much welcome in his life.
The first thing he sees when he opens the door to the dorm is Han Geng scurrying around the kitchen.
He's probably scavenging ingredients for his infamous fried rice.
He knows he can look forward to a hearty breakfast today.
And though Heechul's standing right next to him, he doesn't bother helping.
He just stands there, laughing and teasing him, irking Han Geng just a little.
Eunhyuk grins and walks further into the dorm.
Halfway down, he runs into Donghae.
He pulls him in for a kiss.
“Good morning,” he says as he pulls away.
Smiling, he walks back to the kitchen to see if Han Geng needs a little help.
Still standing there, Donghae smiles.
He smiles because he knows exactly where Eunhyuk went this morning.
Then he licks his lips.
They taste like coffee.
