Well, I read a bit of a book on sleep manipulation and tried it out last night. I wrote a paragraph about something I wanted to dream about, then I condensed it down into one sentence. You very well may have dreamed about it.

If you want to make sure you're dreaming, try a few things.

1. Get at least 8 hours of uninterupted sleep. The reason we don't remember dreams when we wake up is because we wake up in a stage of sleep far from the REM stage. The more sleep you get, the longer each REM stage becomes, raising the chances you'll wake up during REM, instead of 1, 2, 3, or 4.

2. Don't take any Nyquil/sleeping pills/alcohol before you go to bed. These inhibit the brain in a way that prevents it from entering the 5th (REM) stage of sleep.

The other night I was describing a guy to one of my friends and said "He kinda looked like Ryan Phillippe" and that night I had a Ryan Phillippe sex dream! Biiiizarre.

PS - He had a REALLLLLLY MASSIVE (can I say gargantuan?) penis.
