I want to update, but I'm going to sleep. I can't update now. Anyway, the quick rundown is: Thursday I'm going on Acutane! YAY! Math exam tomorrow; I think I might do decently! Poli Sci exam thursday! Gah... Other than that, my love life is a stagnant puddle of an unidentifiable substance surrounding my feet. Oops...

p.s. i'm sure that you already have researched the dangers of acutane, but i will give you a little personal note on that. I took acutane a while ago. And while most of the time my skin is flawless and I would do it again in a heartbeat, it is probably the most wretched thing my mind and emotions have ever gone through. I am not a person who cries, and there were times when i would just start sobbing for no reason. It messes up your emotions. So be careful. make sure you have someone to talk to about depression also, because that side effect sucks asshole! Oh, and get a good facial moisturizor cause youll be needing that as well. And good luck!!
love,
joe

My dermatologist won't put me on acutane so I'm on retin a micro and another thing. He wants to put me on tetracyclin as well. Pay attention to your kidneys when you go on it (I know it sounds weird). Hope all goes well! :D

PS - My friend said State was only like an hour from here so I'm going to try and come visit you soon, like before we have 10 feet of snow. ;P

If they refuse to put me on it i'm gona bust a nut.

I tried retin a micro, it did nothing.

I also tried Minocyclin, a different oral antibiotic, it did nothing.

I also tried Duac, Brevoxyl, and Proactive. THey all did jack shit.

I've seriously been on a buttload of prescription and over the counter products including Proactive, Benzoyl Peroxide (prescrip), and others. The Retina A and this other stuff (Benzoclin) have helped, my skin looks clearer, but it hasn't ridden me of acne. Hopefully the tetracycline will aid in that. If I still have acne when I'm 20, I'm demanding Acutane damn it!

ahh, be careful with accutane.

Remember always; eye drops, chap stick, muscle pain...

And if you feel depressed... tell you're doctor. It isn't worth it. And stick to it, going on and off with taking the pills is also pretty bad.
