Well, last night was an odd night. After going to sleep at 1:00 I woke up at 4:00 with a very odd feeling. I must have been having some sort of dream, but I'm not even sure that I could grasp it while asleep. I felt like I should have learned something, like the dream was trying to tell me something. I love Dune! Have you seen the movie? Not the recent one, but the one from the early 80s. So great. Your dream makes sense. When you are in deepest sleep which is when you dream(Rapid Eye Movement - REM) your brain takes all the stuff you learned that day and hardwires it. Essentially if you did a lot of learning during the day, you reinforce it at night. That's one of the reasons why if you dont get enough night's sleep you do worse on tests etc. SO, if you are taking any kind of class in which that material is covered, or you have been reading a book that has that info in it, those connections you made will reappear during sleep. Yay. Sorry to be all know-it-all-ish. I just learned this (plus greater detail) in physiology today and yesterday so talking about it here is helping reinforce MY learning. Hehe.

yay! that makes me sooo happy! i can't tell you about all the crazy dune-related dreams that i've had, but just know that you aren't alone. i'll see you sometime, in a prescient vision maybe.
