Happy Pie For Breakfast Day!

DS joined us - took the bus to the ferry; there were two boats running! On time, even! - and as he came in, he laughingly said "I could smell the curry at street level as I was walking up!" The vegetarian stew turned out wonderfully; he ate a huge bowlful over basmati rice, half the garlic naan and a very large piece of pie. We watched the Bake-Off

Pie for breakfast after Thanksgiving is obligatory.

More rain? Oh dear.

Chocolate silk, as all the fruit pies were cleaned out in the three stores I checked. Not that it isn't delicious! But it is not Dutch apple.

Another "atmospheric river" is falling on us, and will be for a while.

Is this already a record-setting year for rain up there? Every time I turn on the Weather Channel they seem to be pointing at you. :(

Missed this, love, apologies! Yes, as of yesterday Seattle has had the wettest fall on record, at least as measured at Sea-Tac. Another atmospheric river is due tomorrow, though we may have a break on Thursday and Friday.

Sounds like a good time was had by all, despite the weather! I've yet to catch the finale--I may still have the episode before that to watch, actually. I'm looking forward to it, though. :)
