The beets are a work of art! I've never seen ones that look like pinwheels.

You found IKEA lights at IKEA? P is a hero getting you there in bad weather!

Lemongrass, limes and oranges...mmmmm...I'd love citrusy shampoo like that!

My father loves growing beets; as one of the things we can talk about without uproar is gardens, I'm planning to buy a pack for him.

I did! Two strings of these, which look amazing in one of their big vases. Though I need a way to conceal the battery packs - P. was very kind to do it.

They use ginger and grapefruit EOs, too, and have fragrance-free options.

The battery packs have been photoshopped out of the picture with the vase - I'm looking at mine and they are noticeable white blocks. But so pretty, and they throw a surprising amount of light!

Citrus of any kind is my favorite scent. Your hair will smell glorious!

There's a thin sheet of ice on everything this morning, which will make Pippin-walkies challenging...

They do offer fragrance-free versions and say that the scent is strongest when the bars come out of the packaging, but I would not mind smelling of grapefruit and ginger and . . . .

Oh, do be careful! It's thawed enough here that there's black ice everywhere, and we're expecting more rain (possibly snow, NOOOOO); at this point I'm just crossing my fingers that it will be safe for the waste pickup crews to make their rounds.

What fun beets! The pink and white ones look like the little fish cakes that come with ramen.

The Chioggias do look like narutomaki! Now I want ramen. *g*

The supply chain/weather problems extended to the restaurant: we were there when they opened at 11 and they were out of French fries, macaroni and cheese, and the little seeded rolls that are over by the soup. No half-and-half or milk, and DS was forced to drink decaf coffee.

But I did get two strings of SNÖYRAs and they're exactly what I wanted. P. says they make him think of fireflies, which he has never seen in RL how has this happened?!? He grew up in Minnesota! A very urban part of Minnesota, true, but still!
