As I told curiouswombat not long ago, my near neighbour has passed. She was the first chair of our gardening committee, and her son very kindly made those books on the subject he didn't want for himself available to the community. Many of them wound up in our shared library, but I have one for myself to remember her by; the book is by local author Ann Lovejoy ( Read more... )

Oh - the link to your neighbours place doesn’t seem to work :( I can see the pretty cottage though - that is very cute!

Yep, link's down. I just sent my dad 27 photos of the cottage, so he will stop texting me about it!

I looked at the apartment pictures last night, but was too sleepy to comment, and I thought it was a nice space. For some reason the link doesn't work this morning for me to go back and look again and be more coherent. But one of the wee cottages looks as if it has a lot more personality.

It is a nice space, and as the link is down this morning I'm wondering if they've already found a tenant? I shall know soon enough, it's right over there *waves*

Cottage cottage cottage cottage cottage!

I can certainly see the cottage's appeal--it's adorable and has that air of cozy that's just the thing for reading with a cup of tea or for sitting on the porch in the morning with a cup of coffee, listening to the birds sing.

I'll just add my nod to the others who've mentioned the link to your late neighbor's apartment not working.

And there are so many windows and skylights!

Yeah, link is broke and/or removed, I'm sorry!

*waves at you* I have been away for what feels like forever and am so happy to see you here!

The cottage is gorgeous and I hope you find something similar in Langley. Though a bit over just 1000 sq, feet seems so small to me. Not that we have a super large space....

Hi! You were off having a great time, I'm so happy for you.

If these were still the days when we'd have 40 people over for a party, it wouldn't be workable. Lately there hasn't been anyone but DS and Dear Friend S. and just under 1100 square feet is more than enough space for P. and I, especially when the front porch would be usable for most of the year.
