So Fanny will be a good wife because she does what she's told? Sir Thomas is soon going to learn that Fanny's not quite as pliable as he thinks she is. At least when it comes to important things.

I'm beginning to see Mary Crawford in an entirely new light, I think she's very coniving underneath that 'friendly' exterior, she probably has been all along. But this plan of Henry's is absolutely awful, I hope fanny's intelligence smacks him round the head (metaphorically :)
