Whee! I made it home! Flying from the U.K. to the middle of the Pacific is a 24 hour flight time alone. But since we got stuck in Newark between the earthquake and the hurricane, it took us 24 hours longer than expected. If I'd the money, I would have flown to Japan and then on home.

A friend of mine have been diverted from Boston to Charlottesville due to Irene but everything without delay ... if you not consider that she landed in a different state!

I don't like yellow pineapple, but I really like white pineapple. They are too delicate to ship, so people usually grow them in their gardens. White pineapples are very sweet and not very acidic, so I love them.
I read your journal whilst you were travelling - so interesting! (but I can't use a standard keyboard, so I couldn't comment on anything!)

I'm very curious about white pineapples I've never heard of it before!
I spent the last few days finishing the fan fic I started in July so I couldn't follow my LJ in a proper way.
By the way I enjoyed my reading and the trip too but from tomorrow it will start all the madness: school and dance lessons for my 5 years old cuty and school piano lessons and soccer training for my 7 years old kid.
I guess I'll try to have few minutes to check on my journal at work during the break ... hopefully
