The new BBC Sherlock makes me very very happy. (There was a moment of doubt in the opening credits, when I realised that Steven Moffat wrote it, and I flashed back to the patchy oddity that was Jekyll, but this was a million times better than that.) I adore Benedict Cumberbatch with his funny face and his lovely eyes, and Martin Freeman was great

Avon and Rodney McKay... hmmm... I didn't like either of them... Not sure why I didn't care for Avon, but with McKay it was his act first, think later attitude and never learning (up to the point where I stopped watching) that a pause for thought before acting might just be a good idea.
