Is it so hard to remember that one stupid line? Oh well. I think effing it up two times tonight has used up my quota for the week. I'd better get it right tomorrow. I hope Paul feels better so that he can come to rehearsal. It's wierd running scenes without him ( Read more... )

Nachos, with cheese, and then beans, and then in side dishes have olives, jalepenos, meat, sour cream, and MORE CHEESE!

I like cheese.

I love you!!!!!

Lasagna. Or that chicken enchilada recipe Sarah/Poet posted in the Back Room--it's on the contests page, as well. Yum. If you choose the enchiladas, let me know--I had to make a few modifications (like boil the chicken for 30 minutes...not 3 minutes!). Either with a green salad should be quick and easy enough.

I miss you too!!!

You should make.... homemade pizza. Buy the premade dough at the store (yay for easy!) and top it with maranara sauce, basil, sun-dried tomatoes, tons of mozzerella cheese, and a couple handfuls of feta cheese. Seriously? Seriously. It's amazing.

Love you!

Make something you're confident making. It doesn't need to be fancy (and that has the tendency to go wrong). You want to be able to enjoy the evening, not end up in the kitchen fussing over a slow dinner. Personally I'd make Spaghetti Bol (which you can excite up with olives, mushrooms etc) or Toad in the Hole (which is a dish you can shove in teh oven and mostly forget.

I've had cheese fondue with guests before- which is meant to be everyone making it together anyway. That's only good with 5 or less though, and if you're feeding your parents too it prob wouldn't work (and I'm assuming that as you're taking over the kitchen you are).
