I'm glad I checked my email. I was about to leave the house to make the icy drive to campus when I decided that I should check my school email before I went. Lo and behold, my professor can't make it off his street, it's so icy. So, no class, and I have four hours to do what I want. Why?
My power is flickering again, and the wind is picking up again. It's been raining buckets on and off all day. The parking lot at the theatre was a miniature lake that we threw brick and chunks of foam into so that we wouldn't have to walk in five inch (or more) deep water to get to our cars. Wow, two posts in one day. Anyways, I'm looking (seriously looking) at the programs offered for studying abroad in Ireland next fall. It looks like it will be about the same or slightly cheaper than being at PLU, and they sound amazing! I mean, who wouldn't want to study literature at the school James Joyce or Oscar Wilde attended? I did my jury today, and it went really well. All their comments were positive, and they practically begged me to be in a choir next year, so I felt good about it. The one or two things that were off were just because of nerves, and not too royally messed up ( Read more... ) -

Tonight I was told (not for the first time) that I give good hugs. It's such a random thing to comment on, but hey. I'm not complaining. It's just odd. Huh.
Kind of liking this whole "I'm now a declared major and know where I'm going in life" feeling. I hope it lasts.
