I never dared used it because I thought it was full of spyware or something haha.

It works well for me. You have to have a decent video card (though not as good as for Second Life) and the ads are a little annoying until you buy your name.

What's full of spyware are some of the offers that people do to get free credits. Just buy your credits cheaply at a reputable reseller like imvusale.com or waltzingmouse.com and avoid the trouble (and help developers make money).

Look out for the ones with VIP in their profiles most slam you automatically, personal security is one of the benefits of premium membership. Shame on you for trolling ;)
