I think people (at least people I know) are getting less-and-less involved in LJ posting. I feel as though I am in that vein as well. Honestly, I enjoy posting as a way to keep track of things, but I have little motivation to post anymore Reading other people's entries is getting less of a regular thing...more of a once a week type thing with ( Read more... )

I'll still be around, posting every now and then. But, I just have no motivation to post anymore, to be plainly honest.

I'll still read an comment though...no worries.

i still read LJs almost every day (although i rarely post unless i have something extremely important or useful to say) but posting is something i do less and less.

i just realized that aside from the maybe 2 people who ever comment on my entries, no one really gives a shit, so i might as well just write it in a real journal if i want it written. ya know, like we used to back in the day before web-based journals started.

if something really amazing happens, then i try to remember to write about it, but even then i mostly just say "fuck it"

I'm pretty much in that same mindframe. Like I said, most people that read my journal I talk to semi-regularly anyway. I basically plan on updating with more "important" matters every now and then, sparing myself from writing a book-like entry.

Reading entries is fun/amusing, and I understand that my lack of updating could hinder that experience for others, but I just can't update like I used to. Life reaches a "boring" point that does not require daily updates about my commute or how long I played internet checkers at work.

With that, I will update later about my experience seeing The Fog on Friday.
