As of today, to keep with the general theme that has cropped up with fellow LJers averi514 and keithbuff, I have decided to swear off the "leisure" internet at work. What this means is that my time will no longer be spent surfing LJs, My Space, Car forums, or any other non-work related activity during working hours (except during lunch, and this also exlcudes news ( Read more... )

It's so f unny that you just wrote about this...I felt that I spent too much time surfing the net at my past 3 jobs...I was looking over my shoulder every 3 minutes to make sure my boss wasn't be hind me! At ERAC, we don't even have the internet on our computers, so it's so much nicer to not feel like I have to see who is on aim, or what's new on Boston.com etc...good job, and good luck...the first step in the process is admitting to it ;)

I hope it works. I honestly spend way too much time online here. No one seems to notice, simply because its a "you are your own delegator" mentality, but I'm starting to get pissed at myself!

And I am on a lunch break now...haha. Back to work for me though!
