Noisebridge is having a time_t Party on Friday from 3 PM.

Only today did I find out that there's a 1234567890day.com and an associated passel of parties.

But, we will have thyme tea. Come on by!

Own N' Thistle [sic - apparently it's "Owl and Thistle"]
808 Post AveCome by 3pm for the Happy Owl happy hour (http://www.seattleweekly.com/locations/owl-n-thistle-171764/). Come dressed in your favorite geek shirt (Unix shirts preferred, generic geek shirts suitable and MSFT geek shirts tolerated.)

Please invite other Seattle-area geeks who would want to celebrate this momentous occasion. More the merrier. Twitter hash tag is #UNIXTimeParty

I'm sad that the only NYC party seems to be at Treehouse; I'm not totally sure that they want non-Jelly strangers there. This will be me in 6 hours.

Facebook is a far more useful object than myspace.

say, I think the hexapodia is down. also my phone won't let me send texts today (though that's scarcely your problem,) so I'm commenting here. hope yours is a pretty good Friday 13.

It was down for a good chunk of the afternoon, but it seems to be back up now. AFAICS speakeasy, the ISP, had issues, athough they claimed (when I called them at 1445 PST) that it wasn't a problem on their end. :(

We had network problems at 83c (the network there uses Speakeasy too, and is in the same neighborhood, so possibly the same equipment / central office) but they weren't as severe as hexapodia's.

Sigh, sometimes I hate computers. :| But thanks for the good wishes! time_t tea time was a very good party, so that's good.
