"--If you have to ask me that, Mike, you're better off not--yeah, yeah, I know. You weren't being serious. Keep telling yourself that. You might believe it."

Pause.

Chuckle.

"No threats. I'm warning you. Bye."

Phone clicks off, fruit salad is grabbed out of the refrigerator.

Sara heads outside, sitting in the shade next to the building.

A little while later, Grissom comes home, Honey running out in front of him on her leash. He scoops up the dog when he spots Sara outside, walking over with a smile and quickly kissing Sara's forehead as Honey wriggles, looking for attention.

"Hi. How are you doing?"

"Fine." She plops the wriggling pup into her lap. "Sit down--it's nice today. And I've got everything confirmed for The Weekend[TM]."

He takes a seat, and looks at her fruit salad, considering nabbing a piece of watermelon, but alas he has puppy hands. Instead, he roots around for some sort of utensil as he replies.

"Excellent. My mother agreed to stay in the hotel by the way. She tried to insist that she's deaf and wouldn't be able to hear anything, of course." His smirk is marred by a grimace as he picks up a piece of paper and looks underneath it with no luck.

"So, what did you set up?" he asks a little distractedly.

She hands him napkins without looking, rubbing Honey's ears.

"Thank God for that. And I thought this chapel would be nice, since it's located across from the resort where we're staying. I had my grandmother's dress altered a bit to give me some more room." She looks down at her stomach with a bit of a laugh.

"Is this okay?"
