I'm going to call it like it is and admit that I am a friendship opportunist, for the most part. OMG this is me. I am too tired to even be responding right now so hopefully I will remember to come back to this but this is me and I wonder sometimes if it means I am bad or wrong or selfish or something.

It just happens. No one is a better or worse person for it, honestly. It's just the change in tide that occurs; people drift with one current and others with another.

I wouldn't worry about it. This is probably why I don't worry about if we go long periods without talking. Any time I've brought that up I wasn't guilting you. I genuinely was just like "yikes, real world Rachel!" I think you know that. But just in case. I already feel like it's tough enough to manage relationships. I have an easier time keeping my friend circle small.
I consistently feel like I identify more with "male" working tropes.
