Pic-A-Tures!

Yes, it's time for another long, but much loved....

Right...woo.

So...this is of the weekend my brother came and stayed with me. Mostly pictures of our fun-filled day in the city, accompanied by Emily and Katherine. SO...are you ready? YES!

It all began when we almost made the 12:33 train...

Note Emily frantically trying to work the train ticket machine...mmm...yesssss

Well, we didn't make the train, so we went and actually had hot chocolate/chai (no, we're not cool enough for actual coffee...) at an actual coffee shop sort of-ish close to my college. SO, I have officially hung out with friends at a semi-local coffee shop off-campus. I guess that stereotypical college activity can be checked off the list!

So, we did catch the 1:33 train, and it whisked us right into the heart of NYC (aka Grand Central). We wandered to Times Square so that Josh could see what it's all about, and then went to find White Castle! YUMMY!! Hehe...Oh, fyi: it was FREEZING!! AH! Very cold, and very windy on top of that. YIKES!

Yes, product placement is crucial!

Katherine, who is allergic to almost everything known to man, ate fries and Goobers:

We once again headed out to brave the frigid conditions, and took the subway to 72nd and walked to Central Park. It was cold. And getting dark. We didn't stay long.

BALTO!!

We couldn't believe that people were actually ice skating in this weather, so Josh took a picture, and I took a picture of him taking a picture!

Funky artwork outside Central Park...

Back to the subway to go to Union Square...the subway station had a horsey!

While we waited for Improv Everywhere to start, we chilled at Starbucks to support corporate America! (Also so that I could take lots of deep action shots!)

Improv Everywhere was awesome. Yay. If you want to see exactly what we did, check it out!

We took the train back to Poughkeepsie. Woo.

So, yeah, that was Saturday! I'll just put in one picture from Sunday when I gave Josh the grand tour of campus. Sunset Lake was frozen, and it looked pretty:

Well, that was fun!

One more thing! I can't believe I almost forgot. I thought I saw Leslie Byerly today! It was so weird! I was walking to ACDC, and this girl was walking in the opposite direction, and I glanced at her quickly and my brain goes, "Hey, it's Leslie Byerly!" but then after a moment I go, "No, Jenny, that can't be Leslie Byerly..." But I kept looking and even as she was getting closer I was like, "Oh my god! It IS Leslie Byerly!!" And I'm just staring at this girl and she's staring at me like, 'Why the hell are you staring at me, crazy person?' and when she finally got about 5 feet away from me I realized that she wasn't Leslie Byerly, but I was SO convinced up to that point. It was crazy!
