Well, today I deceded to add a new weekly feature to the journal.

Wow, what a randomly nice day. All is peaceful here at the stable. Horse is running on all cylinders today for a change. Kind of a surreal feeling it is. Rather nice to say the least. YAY. Giddyness abound. Fresh clovers to be had, new crop of corrots. And more sugar for horse.

Great days to all, riding season has opened. Soon we will be back on the trails, jumping, laughing, making memories.

So the past few days have been hectic around the old barn. A very close friend of mine and his family lost their house in the big flood last week. So I have been harboring refugees for the past few nights. Everyone is safe, which is the most important part. So it seems the midwest is floating away. mass rain, big floods have caused all kinds of turmoil. and yet we live on, day by day. everything seems to be grand right now. finally catching up on work.
