So, I got my hands on Madden 10, used the "Create-A-Team" feature, and renamed all the players after friends and family. Then I imported the team into the Franchise Mode, and I'm working my way through a season. My team's based in Boston, but divisionally, it's AFC South (I kicked Jacksonville out of the league to make room for my team - Madden doesn't have a league expansion feature). But hey - I'm a casual gamer, and slavish realism isn't all that high on my priority list.
Anyway. The team is the Bandits (because I found its primary and alternate the most aesthetically pleasing of the available logos), and they play in the brand new, state-of-the-art Equinoxx Stadium. Here are a couple of pics to show off the uniforms:

As for who all's on the team...
...like I said, they're all named after folks I know, family and friends. Some are straight namesakes, and some combine multiple names. The only member of the team I didn't name is the Head Coach; that's entirely game-generated, and I can't find any option to change it... short of firing him and hiring either a real-life coach, or another game-generated skipper whose name I won't be able to change.
