Good afternoon, my dahlings.

I walked into work yesterday morning and Paula said "HEY, look who's here! I missed you so much yesterday." It is nice to be needed. :-D All in all yesterday turned out very well, a quiet day wherein Paula and I ordered ourselves a pizza for lunch and let out a dog to eat it with us. We taught him tricks and fed him sausage. Only two people came in ( Read more... )

lol. I almost did, but she was crying so hard and so incoherent it was hard to carry on a conversation. I will probably see her again, though. Usually people like her come in two or three times a week to check on their dog. =P
The frustrating thing is, even though the shooting part is borderline abusive, apparantly the pheasants are part of his business, so I could understand him not wanting the dog around. I simply fail to understand why they are "together". People really need to talk about things like this before they move in together. Whatever happened to realistic planning and discussion? I come with a disclaimer, and I make it very clear to every male that comes my way that I will not be in a relationship with someone who doesn't like animals. It wouldn't be fair to the animals, to the unanimal guy, and to me. People should think about stuff like that first. =P

*descends from soapbox*

(Out all of the reasons given for owner surrenders "my significant other doesn't like him" is about my least favorite. Could you tell? lol.)

Awww, a BLUE HEELER?! Can I adopt him? If the girl doesn't kick her boyfriend out (which she should!) and get the dog back, that is. (mandajanie and I settled the matter long ago that dogs are vastly superior to husbands and/or boyfriends.)

But a blue heeler...Gracie is 1/2 blue heeler, you know. They're the same thing as Aussie cattle dogs. I'll take the wittle puppy if no one else claims him. *wishes*

Ahem. *assumes professional voice* "It's a $35 dollar adoption fee for dogs and his neuter must be prepayed at the vet of your choice. We do adopt out of state."

You'd be so good for him, Jess! His name is Levi. :-D
