"The Plot to Kill Evolution"

I am here at the library on my day off, as chauffer for Rebecca's volunteer service. This means I drive her here and spend two hours reading and playing on the internet. Poor me. :-D
Anyway. So there I was browsing through the magazine section and I came across an October '04 issue of Wired. I'd never heard of the magazine before but the headline ( Read more... )

Biz looks like a pig, I look like a deer the instant before it gets flattened by a semi, and YOU are smiling sweetly and looking cute.

Buaha. Biz doesn't appreciate it, either. I suggested that I pose for a remake. Should I juggle something?

I do have the pic that Nicole gave me, but I already used it for another icon. A pose would be much appreciated, Kristin, but preferable one that includes you expression upon discovering a mosquito has just flown in your ear and won't come out.

Hello....I'm an LJ friend of "ladyvoranderun" and found myself at this post about the "Wired" article. Upon reading the first 2 pages, I was very disappointed (yet not surprised) to see that they put the ID "attack" in a very negative light. I just thought I'd bring that up. Hope it was alright that I commented. :) Have a great week!

I didn't object to the comment at all, it only took me forever and a day to respond because I've hardly done anything on LJ in a while. I agree, the article was incredibly but negative but, like you, I wasn't that suprised. I was just excited to see ID gaining any recognition whatsoever. I think alot of people in the US don't even realize evolution can or is being challenged, and at least articles like this will start them thinking.

Biz tells me you will remember yours truly and this particular thread, so I shall simply skip the introduction and ask if you mind that I've added you as a friend. I warn you, I don't spend as much time here as I used too. But then, that might be a good thing. ;-)
