Actually, I prefer the DVD version. It's not so Hawkeye/Cora 'world revolves around them'. You see more Chingachook (spelling?), Uncas, and others. The first one I watched was the DVD, and then I saw the VHS and realized more good things come out of the Directors Cut. Also, Chingachook (spelling?) closes the film instead of H/C.
Hmmmmm... sounds pretty good. A lot of people said the director's cut ruined the flow of the film, but I don't really think it would matter to me. And I really would like to see more of Uncas. He and Alice are my favorite characters.
