That morning, Siwan woke up early, got dressed fast and left the dorm without making any noise. While he was going downstairs, he felt that the nerves he has since the previous night were becoming adrenaline inside his stomach. He reached the street. It was dark. The dim light that helped him to see came from the few street lamps and a couple of neon signs. He locked the door with the key and stopped for a while in front of the door, breathing and calming his nerves.
He told himself “Siwan, keep calm. You're just going to buy a present. You aren't doing anything wrong.” That day was Junyoung birthday, but he couldn't buy a present before because they were all day rehearsing, and at the break time, the leader asked them where were they going every time they left the building. So he decided waking up really early that day and going to buy the birthday gift.
He went to a department store by subway, covering his face with a scarf. He didn't want fans to recognize him and, besides, that February was being really cold and he had to avoid his throat from being damaged. He bought a beautiful headphones. He had bought other for herself a few weeks ago, and Junyoung had loved them. The ones Siwan was going to give to the leader were like his, since he knew Junyoung liked colour black too.
He came back to the dorm. Nobody noticed his absence, and Taehun was the only one awake when he entered the flat. Once all the members woke up and had breakfast, they left and started a hard day. After dinner, Minwoo took a cake from the fridge and they sang the “Happy Birthday” to their leader. When they finished eating the sweet cake, the members gave Junyoung the presents they had bought. Most were T-shirts and CDs, and Junyoung thanked all them with a bright smile.
Siwan's headphones were the last present. Junyoung opened the package and let out a surprised expression. “Wow, these are amazing. And I love the colour. Thanks Siwa. Now, we have couple headphones.” All ZE:A members started to laugh. They knew Junyoung liked couple things, but these were usually T-shirts, rings or necklaces, not headphones. They spent a few minutes more talking and laughing around the table, and, gradually, they were going to sleep.
Finally, Siwan and Junyoung were the only ones that remained in the living room, talking about past birthdays and special gifts. Suddenly, Junyoung stood up, approached to Siwan and kissed him in the cheek. Siwan was quiet, without knowing what to say. Junyoung was the first to speak, still next to him and looking at his dark but bright eyes “Thank you again. I really love the headphones.” Siwan answered “It's just a simple gift.” Junyoung said “You're wrong. This headphones are like yours, and when I'll wore them, I'll feel like being you, like being inside of you.” And without another word, the leader went to bed.
