50 ZE:A FICS CHALLENGE - 004. Cold, Junyoung/Taehun

Title: 004. Cold

A/N: I dedicate this fic to ammuki because I think she loves this pairing and to myself for the same reason. Hope you like it unnie.

That winter was being really cold. Almost every day the sky was cloudy, and it snowed at least twice a week. No one wanted to leave home under such conditions, let alone if heating gave the warmth they needed. But ZE:A's schedule didn't leave members even a minute of rest, and every other minute they had to go to rehearsal or recording. And the studio was very cold. All were prepared with coats, scarves, gloves and wool caps, but they also had to take blankets, because it wasn't enough.
But everything changed when it was their turn to sing. Rappers, especially, warmed up because of the gestures they made to express themselves. Heechul was particularly exaggerated, and the other members laughed at him constantly. But Taehun, felt the cold in his bones. And Junyoung, as a good leader, was quick to notice it.
In their way to home, Taehun was trembling. Junyoung approached him and asked “Taehunnie, are you OK?” “Deh” answered the rapper, but it didn't sound very convincing. Junyoung noticed for sure that Taehun wasn't fine, but he didn't say him anything more. He just remained next to his fellow for the rest of the way, without talking, but looking at him worried.
When they arrived home, most of ZE:A members sat at the coach, comfortably covered with blankets, joking and watching TV. But Taehun didn't. He went to his room immediately after taking off his trainers and letting them in the hall. Junyoung, that was still next to Taehun, followed him to his bedroom. Taehun was so absorbed into his own thought that didn't notice that the leader was following him, and he nearly slammed the door in his face.
Junyoung came into the room and closed the door behind him. When Taehun saw the leader, he jumped in the bed and covered himself with the sheets. Junyoung had enough with that. He sat on the bed, uncovered Taehun and kissed him, catching Taehun off guard. The rapper took a little to answer the kiss, but finally he replied it with strenght, pushing Junyoung until he was laying on the bed.
They moved away from each other, and when Taehun tried to kiss again Junyoung, the leader stopped him and sat up. He said “Taehun, I'm the leader and I'm not stupid. I know all of you, and today you weren't OK. And I can say you aren't OK right now either.”
Taehun turned back his face avoiding Junyoung's eyes, but the leader took the rapper face with his hand and forced Taehun to look at him. “Answer me” he said. Taehun didn't open his mouth. Junyoung yelled “I said, answer me!” He realized he shouldn’t have shouted when Thaehun's eyes covered with tears. Junyoung let Taehun's chin go.
Taehun looked at him, directly into his eyes, when he felt Junyougn hand leaving his face. Junyoung said “I'm sorry” and he turned his eyes to the floor. This time was Taehun who took Junyoung's face with both hands and turned it towards his own face. “You're right” Taehun said. “I shouldn't act like this. I'm just making you worry about me. But lately all I do is wrong. I don't like how I'm singing and I'm not feeling good.” Junyoung interrupted him “It must be the weather.”
“Ahnee” Taehun continued “I think it's because my feelings are all mixed up.” Taehun didn't use to be sincere with everybody, and he hardly ever showed his feelings. But sharing that with Junyoung was different. The leader was like a brother and a boyfriend to him, and he felt he could trust him.
Finally, he let it go. “Junyoung, I feel I'm falling in love with you.” Junyoung said “I could imagine it. You were avoiding me.” Taehun nodded “It's because I'm afraid of mess it up. And I don't want ot loose you.
“Don't worry” said Junyoung “You'll always have me. I can be your friend, your lover, your boyfriend or just a group mate, but they chose me as ZE:A leader, and it's because I'll always be there for all of you, no matter what.” Taehun asked “Yes but, what about us?” Junyoung said “I think we should take it easy. I don't want to mess it up either.”
“I love you” Taehun said “I'm sorry, but I'm feeling like this.” Junyoung looked at his eyes and said “Don't apologize for loving someone. Open your heart is the most beautiful thing you can do.” And he pushed softly Taehun's shoulders until his back was against the mattress and he pushed gently his lips against rapper's ones in a tender kiss.
