so I was thinking of making a blog just to slap up the stuff i write that i don't mind sharing with people, separate from LJ. but i feel awkward and/or overstimulated. i made a tumblr account, and then got scared with all the gadgets and ran away from the website. any suggestions? ._.

It's like tumblr but awesome. >_> It's mostly designed for posting pictures, video and other snippets but it seems to handle large chunks of text perfectly well and the interface is nice and clean and simple.
