A North Carolina fall tradition. Usually a whole pig, a whole deer, and whatever other meats people bring are roasted and tossed in a huge kettle over a fire. Tomatoes, potatoes, corn, beans, and whatever other harvest fresh veggies on hand are layered in. It's stirred with a boat oar since the pot is massive. They usually keep the pot at the local fire department and sell the stew by the gallon.

Two bison steaks, a chunk of ham butt, and a chicken breast.
