do people really say that making me happy is futile? cause im mostly happy, i just dont show it very well.

It's the showing it that's the problem. Because even though you may FEEL happy, I have yet to hear a happy word out of your mouth (except for the boyfriend-euphoria happiness you had for a while, but we see how THAT turned out).

It's the expression of happiness we need to work on.
