So, this journal is going to be uber long.
Prepare for photography, ranting, vacation stuff, and my progress on writing.

Soooo....yeah. Long time no write! I've recently been having some trouble with LJ about posting. But I think I finally figured out the problem, which is my Google Chrome browser.
Y'see, my old Mozilla browser kept crashing, and I became so frustrated with it that I decided to switch to Chrome. The thing with Chrome is that it...acts a bit differently with stuff. Like LJ. It won't allow me to copy and paste in the box, load picture or videos, or add links.
So, I now have Mozilla back up, for when I post on LJ and such, since I don't have the problems here like I do on Chrome. But Chrome will stay my main browser, since it's soooo sleek~

Now, as some know, I got a new camera recently. I haven't been able to use it too much, but the first day I got it, my mother and father took me out for a drive to the beach, where I got some decent shots. This was quite a while ago, but I'll post here. :)
Okey dokes, that wraps up this first batch of photos.

Alright, so! Intermission time!
This summer, I took summer courses at my college. It wasn't so hard until the second half started, and then everything hit me like a train. The tests are extremely difficult and time consuming. We get add-on times to add to our essay answers, but my goodness. There's just so much to write.
I go to school almost every day to work. ;A; I am so very burnt out. And I have just so much to do.
I wanna diiiiiiieeeeeee!!!!! TAT
Alas, I must continue to try and get the best grade possible.
In other news, I've chosen my other courses for fall term. I've got Microbiology lecture and lab, I managed to snag a Critical Thinking for Nursing course, and I'll be taking an Intro to Fiction Writing course. Or maybe a photography course. I still haven't decided quite yet.

Alright, more photos!
So, I went on a little vacation up to Orlando. It wasn't very much.
We went to a science museum. And then Wonderworks. And then we went mini-golfing. That's about it. But I saw a lot of alligators. And I got to feed some! I'll have a couple videos of that at the end.
The weirdest looking reptile ever.
And there we go. :)

And another intermission!
So, I've been writing a new fanfic. REVENANT may yet be one of my most complicated works I've ever written. I just hope I can do this right! Currently, I'm too swamped by college to write anything, but once August rolls around, I'll be able to start chapter 4.
As a side note, I just finished watching all the episodes of Tiger & Bunny that are currently out.
Oh my god.
I don't think I've ever explicitly stated this. But I have a superhero fetish. I just....FFFFF SO INTERESTING.
I love this series. I find it hysterical. A deconstruction on how the media uses heroes as advertising billboards and entertainment, but also a total representation of the true intent of superheroes: helping people. I love it. I can't get enough of it!
So far, I gotta say my fave characters are Sky High and Origami Cyclone. They're just so dorky! I love dorky characters. XD Sky High is such an innocent dope. Episode 15 had me in tears just thinking about poor Keith sitting on that bench, waiting for his crush to come...And he's always shouting his name! And he never has an original line. XD "Thank you, and again, thank you!" I can't help it, it's just so funny to me. XD
Origami Cyclone, or Ivan, is cute just for how he acts around cameras. XD He's the guy that tries to be in the background every time. But oooooh! At the end of episode 11, and the beginning of episode 12, I was wibbling about whether or not he'd make it! He finally managed to use his powers to be useful to the other heroes, and then bam! That creep shows up!
And wow. Just the way Barnaby acted toward Kotetsu in ep. 13 just because he screwed up...Oh, poor Tiger....
Anyway, I love this series. XD The characters are very likable to me, and the premise of superheroes is just the kind of thing I love. I'll definitely continue watching it! I gotta know what poor Kotetsu is gonna do now that the worst has happened! The end of Ep. 16 had me crying, just for the symbolism of it all.
The rise of Barnaby, and the fall of Wild Tiger. ;A; And he fell right into a dumpster. Nobody wants him. ;~; Just...so...sad!
Rant done. XD

And finally, this is my latest silhouette series. Earlier, the first photograph set I posted, had my first silhouette series. I love silhouette shots, so these are kinda a follow up. This was taken in a simple patch of weeds at sunset, but I love the effect. ><
That's it. :) I like these for the color gradient displayed in the background, and the blur of faded out silhouettes.
If you want to see the full versions of the first set of photos, go to my deviant art, listed as a link on the side box on the right. I'll eventually begin posting these silhouette shot son my account as well.
I hope you enjoyed this. :) Or were at least entertained by the pretty colors. XD
