I'm trying to remember to write things sometimes and to be creative, but it's not working very well >:| I think I generally work better with prompts - found some notes from last year, when I had to write based on the texts from that week, writing down some of the techniqus those pieces used that I could borrow to make my piece seem relevant. I really like the idea of telling the story partly through footnotes. When I was away at university, my friend and I used to hand-write letters to each other, to keep up the practice. She could always tell when I was in a good mood, because my letter would be full of parenthetical asides and even footnotes. It was lots of fun.

Haha, yes, I use parentheses heaps, too - although for me (so Mum's analysed) I do it when I talk too, because that way I can squeeze in my information before my brothers interrupt me :P
