You have to realize other nations do this torturing as well and that America is no different, we just hide it better. I am not saying that I agree with it but after taking courses on international relations you should realize that a lot of countries are similar in many ways discreet operations and all...

a western country conducting torture in the 21st century thats just retarded. i lost hope in america being the "good guy" to the rest of the world for a while now. what i've noticed is that obama is slightly moving in the right direction. something about i forgot the name of the act. where any citizen can go to any government agency and request any information they want. meaning no more or less government secrecy. my hope that someday U.S dependancy on foreign oil will end the greed of getting mixed up with other governments. The defense industry needs to be destroyed if america is ever going to seek world peace. I dont picture america saving any country unless there is something in it for the money.
