my comic book collection,etcerasemeat25February 27 2007, 02:06:59 UTC
the last time I worked it was at a comic book store in west Los Angeles, that's why I have as many as I do: they gave a good discount there, 40% off but with a comic book that was 3.75 or whatever it was like spending nothing. I would have worked there longer, but I wanted to go back to school full time and then that didn't work out so now I go barely part time. Thanks for saying my collection rocks I have mostly Peter Bagge stuff in there, so your propbably a Peter and Evan fan. Rock on!

you're welcome! :) i worked at a comic shop for 8 years. P Bagge, Dorkin, Terry Moore, Crumb, Clowes...oh so much good stuff came my way. i totally forgot to say THANKS for adding me :) it's good to meet new poeple that dig the same things i do. plus i really did like your story about meeting Elliott. i get a lot of flak for telling about when i met him so i really understand.

wow!none of those people came into our shitty store LOL... one day johnny Ryan had a signing there but it was after I quit--yeah some of the people on elliott smith were making me doubt I even met him- It happened years ago, where did you meet him? I think they might be jealous but it's nothing to be jeaolous over...not like him,jen and I kicked it and he played music for me. THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN AWSOME! It was so shocking when he passed away... I wonder to this day if it was murder beacuse of how he killed imself and that he took drugs... I add alot of people I have the same intrest as...thanks for adding me back because I wish more people would.
Oh my god. I think I've just found the Earth 2 version of me. :p It's comforting to know I'm not the only adult who hordes comix like a live action version of The Comic Book Guy from the Simpsons.
comics? what comics?erasemeat25February 27 2007, 06:59:01 UTC
oh crap? first our dislike for DMB and NS and now another Crumb fan? I knew you were into Dorkin( well, because that's how I found you and added you) but now I know the truth: you are my male doppleganger. Please tell me you have seen the crumb movie and are a Peter Bagge fan too? I'll know that it was livejournal friendship 2be. who could hate on my man homer? DOH!mmmmmmm clockyyyyy

I love the crumb family too!- I like the later Crumb stuff better when him and Aline drew together and the stuff from 'wierdo'. I like Sofie's stuff too.
