So, I'm downtown again in the city where my college is. I'm staying with my sorority sister Brooke, who has a gorgeous apartment. My mood has improved ten fold now that I'm in a town that I associate with freedom and good times, and sorority sisters are starting to contact me now that they're in town.
Yesterday Katie and Amanda came over to pack.

And that town paragraph really sticks out to me. I'm glad you found a place that sounds brilliant. I do not like my current town at all, but I visit a place three blocks from here where the mood is totally different- the type of strangers that say hi to you in line and local bands play for the hell of it. Ugh now I gotta look through my pictures haha

I totally understand what you mean. This city is big, but all of the buildings are close together and there's always things going on. Like, you don't drive to anything. It's practically impossible with all of the college kids around. It's not quite as friendly as say, Alabama, which is where I grew up (til I was 8) but it's still pretty great. Your place sounds nice :)
