Everything has seemingly turned around. Job situation, relationship, etc!

God is so good and on time. I am glad I finally started trusting. Now to continue and commit to be deserving of such blessings.

you reminded me of something:

"God helps those who help themselves"
that actually doesn't have anything to do with the christian god. it's an Asop's fable and it makes reference to the god Hercules...

the christian bible ...or jewish one for that matter...or muslim one for that matter...most any bible save for "the fisherman's bible"(which is just a book on how to catch fish...) has to do with waiting for gods to do things in their own time.

Hhmmm I keep trying to figure out what exactly you are saying...

But it makes me curious as to what you think about God's sovereignty or if it simply serendipity from a clash of purely coincidental instances statistically likely to happen...

Cause I certainly felt like I was surely doing what I could to help myself and yet things were just not progressing in my ideal manner - and a simple (but hard) decision seemed to be the catalyst for that exact progress.

as far as a god's sovereignty, are you familiar with a concept known as "magical thinking" such as how some people who are scared of flying hold on to the arm rest the entire time the plane is in the air and believe that they are somehow willing the plane to not crash. I believe it's a bit like that. If you look for a relation in events or want something to transpire enough, could argue almost anything brought it about. I do however believe that the idea of asking a god for a boy or a girl to like you is really really really selfish and there are much better things one could ask a god to do. ...and when it comes down to it...how trivial are the things that we ask our gods (not read God or even Odin or that nigga T.I for some people...simply read gods) to do for us. and on top of that...how silly are some of the things that depress us as people? However, I am always looking at the bigger picture and in a cruel twist of fate get moody and depressed easily. lulz. such is fate, no
