They did the conversion on Dad. He's back to normal, now-- his heart rate is healthy and his heart is in much better condition to pump blood. His blood pressure is still worrisome, but it's always been that way-- he's had high blood pressure since he was my age ( Read more... )

Tell me 'bout it. Mom's relieved beyond all human comprehension. Apparently the doctor said that one of the blockages they found in his heart is referred to as "the widowmaker", so she's a little emotional about it.

What's fucked up is that, the last time he had the abnormal heartbeat, they did a scope like this time. No blockage. So, logically, either they missed it last time, or it just built up over the past couple of years. A little scary either way.

Paul,
Didn't know how else to contact you. Hope this is OK.
Wanted to thank you so very much for dinner recently. It was so great to see you and your folks. I trust your trip back was uneventful and that you didn't "lose" anything on the way.
Packing is moving along. I try not to think about the deadline(s), and just keep plugging away. In a week the house will be empty and we'll probably be sleeping in the camper while we get tings cleaned up and do some last minute connecting with friends and family. Settlement is on Friday the 30th and I guess we'll head out that Sunday. (Getting psyched!!!)
I also wanted to ask you about an invite to Google Mail. Any chance I can get one? Thanks in advance.
Your folks got info to us on ABF trucking and it looks like a good deal. I checkec out another company that was recommended, but ABF was substantially cheaper.
Anyway, hope your time away goes swiftly and smoothly!
Love ya!
