Thank you so much for writing for me. I'm very excited by the chance to read something in any of my choices. I'm not a very good writer myself, so you have nothing to fear in writing for me.
In general:
I'm not easily squicked, and I don't mind kink, but bloodplay/pain doesn't do much for me. I'm more interested in people trusting/sharing intimacy in general, especially if it's hard for them to do that. Any rating you feel comfortable writing is fine.
1. Jacqueline Lichtenberg Sime/Gen:
I was really in love with the slashiness of the Klyd Farris/Hugh Valleroy story, and it annoyed me greatly when the author wimped out and put in that thing where people are repelled by each other after transfer or whatever. She clearly put that in solely to discourage slash. I'd like to have a story where Klyd and Hugh are not repelled by each other, for whatever reason you can think of or just pretend the author never said that. Story can be slash or strong friendship gen. I like the idea of vulnerable, needy Klyd, but it's not essential to my enjoyment. I'm particularly interested in their relationship around or after their first transfer. I just want these guys to show their love for each other, platonic or sexual, cause I love their relationship.
2. Sarah Connor Chronicles:
I only like het if the woman is strongly empowered and the guy is comfortable with her power. I'd like to see Derek happily following Sarah's orders, and if he gets off on her strength all the better. I wouldn't mind a little hurt, vulnerable, needy, PTSD, or fucked up Derek (no excessive weakness or crying though)with competent Sarah. Can be het or gen, but I would prefer not to hear a lot about Jesse, as Derek/Jesse is not my thing.
3. Whip It:
This is kind of a strange request for me, as I haven't been able to see the movie yet. I just like roller derby, so I want a story that deals with the sport somewhat. You don't have to be an expert on the rules as I don't know a great deal about it myself. Whatever you got out of the movie about the sport is fine. I want a story where women do things, team spirit or strong friendship would be cool. Femslash is okay, but it's not really my thing, so I would prefer the emphasis be on the roller derby part, and a friendship bond, or an empowered woman or women. See #2 for my feelings about het. Oh, I obviously don't care about being spoiled. I will have read the book by Christmas, so if you are familiar with the book and want to draw on it, that would be fine, though not at all necessary.
