I guess I felt like it was brave and went to a place that movies never go, psychologically. I think there's something so vulnerable and beautiful about it because it explores aspects of ourselves we wouldn't often allow to be explored. I also love the humor and the humanistic attitude. And of course, any time you put a drag queen in front of a marching band with a megaphone I'm going to be in heaven. I think that scene is one of my favorite film scenes ever just because of the feeling it gives me. Ed Koch is pretty good in it as well.

Agreed on Two Towers if choosing one in that trilogy.
Why Shortbus? Had not considered it, and can definitely see reasons why, but was curious as to your thoughts.
