I cannot BELIEVE I paid ten bucks for this bullshit! I paid my good money to be forced into farming not one, not two, but SIX stupid-ass items from weak mobs against dozens of competing players. And after that, then what? There’s only like two fights in the entire expansion! People got it done the very first night! So much for two weeks of content.

Even if I had to wait a JP midnight for the mission line, I didn't have to wait for all the content. While waiting for a CoP midnight, I could exp in the new areas. For ToAU, there's exp areas, assault, and new jobs. For WotG, there's... exp areas, campaign, and new jobs.

The thing is, this was all there on RELEASE DAY. They obviously added a lot more to all three boxes than just that. What exactly do you think they'll add that requires ACP completion? Not a thing.

the thing ppl always forget about "A Crystalline Prophecy" is, that this is NOT an expansion!
It's just a scenario, a short story. Like the story about the Fellows. Nothing more. So don't except HUGE new areas or something, because that's not going to happen.

They advertised it as a mini-EXPANSION. And I didn't have to pay a dime for the fellows.

Why shouldn't I expect new areas? This wasn't a version update - it was something I had to pay money on. I paid 1/3 the money I pay for a normal expansion, so I expect about 1/3 the content.

CoP, WotG, and ToAU had like two dozen new areas each. So that's about 8 areas at the 1/3 policy. I would have been okay with 3 or 4. We got 0.

And, the thing is, there's going to be 0 updates to ACP content other than tweaking and/or breaking stuff. You won't see a ACP endgame event like limbus or salvage. There's none of that. New content ended yesterday.

It's crap and it's a rip-off and I ain't happy about it.

Well, then SE failed again completely with the translation. I normally check the German site because my German is slightly better then my English. And there SE never said anything about an expansion or mini-expansion. They really only named it a scenario there.

And to be honest.. I know there are ppl which did it in one night, but I don't know how. Shouldn't they sleep at night too? .. Maybe it's just me who needs to work during the day and sleep at night..

I'm sure, I'll have at least two moths of fun with this due to my limited time :D
So I can be happy about it =3
(Plus I'm normally someone who enjoys reading the story and not just skipping everything away)

If that's all you get, it should not have been sold for like $9.99 ;<.< I must say I am disappointed already, and I haven't even done much for the expansion yet, just seen some cutscene on a mule in Jeuno - but to know there is nothing "new content" like areas added pretty much sucks. I was definitely expecting a few new areas and a long storyline that would tell me more about the crystal story and such. :/

I totally agree with you ere - if they were gunna make us pay for a glorified questline they shoulda made us pay for the Serpent General Quests.

I've only done the first part of ACP, but I'm pretty sure I will have loved the Serpent General quests more than it :| Although I'm a dork for histories of NPCs, but seriously, I have Gadalar's part left... and that questline has been like... one of my favorite things XD;
