I realised yesterday it had been almost a month since your lasy blog post, and it made me wonder if something had happened.
"Days of logging off frustrated and wondering where it all went terribly wrong has produced the need for another Ererant, with a topic chosen with extreme prejudice."
Oh good god can I sympathise :(
Good post I thought. I think it provides a good explanation of that feeling of "eh, should just do it myself rather than ask for help".
I totally feel where you're coming from about the whole antithy stuff. Prime example (personal example, if anything) is my most recent limbus run, which was less than stellar, to say the least. We had enough people to manaburn the run we went to, with enough people left over to low-man another zone, but we didn't and it resulted in total chaos. In fact, on the last floor, we almost wiped with around 10-12 people, yet me and two other people nearly trio'd it successfully before.
Antithy is not a word, and is really a misguided attempt at creating a word for the opposite of synergy. More useful words would be apathy, insouciance, or indifference.
Hard to keep up interest when you don't even LIKE the people, or person, you're spending your time to help.

I have this happen way too often, namely, in any sort of group project for college classes (which is why I always prefer to work alone).
Also, win lulzy vid is win and lulzy.
