I am financially independent with a stable, entertaining job in a climate and area where, for the first time in my life, I actually enjoy being outdoors. While I have stopped playing many times in the past, they were largely because of events in my life

Going to miss your posts on LJ. I found you through your COP guide you wrote a long time ago. It's sad to see another player leaving Vana'diel - but all good things come to an end I guess. :(

Not surprised at all to have read this, but I am saddened by it, even if we're on different servers. I always thought you had one of the most entertaining journals around, and your CoP guide must have helped countless people. Here's hoping that quitting is the right thing for you to do.
