Progress at Last

Finally got a diagnosis on something. One of my six (soon seven) doctors found that I flat line on cortisol throughout the day. This doesn't surprise me as I have felt all along that I have some level of adrenal failure. I'm so glad you've made some progress! :)

As for the boredom, I'm guessing you're not up to being on your computer much (or I'd suggest you do lots of guilt free gaming), but do you like audiobooks at all? I know they can be expensive, but you can get a bunch of public domain ones here: www.librivox.org
or download something called Overdrive media console player and using that, you can check out audiobooks and e-books from your libary right to your laptop!

If you aren't in the mood for books, podcasts are also great. There's a podcast for pretty much any interest you can imagine. I really love a film review one by the BBC's Kermode and Mayo--they're really smart and funny and somewhat obsessed with Jason Isaacs. :) There's also a great set of language learning podcasts put out by Radio Lingua Network (The Coffee Break series) that has a really soothing sounding Scottish guy as the instructor.

So glad you've finally got something concrete to work with, even if it's partial! Progress is fantastic. I hope the cortisol discovery will lead to more insight.
