My efforts to post more regularly around here have taken a serious hit over the past week or so, and it is almost entirely because I have been waiting for the results of two stories that seem linked in news coverage and in my mind. They are the stories about the trapped miners in Utah and the astronauts due back soon aboard a damaged Endeavour. I

Endeavor just landed safely =D

Dione and I fulfilled a lifelong with we both had to go see the shuttle launch facility back in November 2005. The bus tour was neat, but we were just expecting more. And it's awfully commercial for a government facility.

(I've been to both Johnson and Kennedy Space Centers, so it was neat to compare the two. Personally, I like Johnson better.)
